What is the cost to upgrade?
There is no upgrade fee or increased cost to your Medicine-On-Time membership for upgrading your software. On a rare occasion, if specific data needs to be migrated from your current Medicine-On-Time software to motNext, Medicine-On-Time will work with a third party vendor to achieve this. All details will be discussed during the initial consultation between your pharmacy and Medicine-On-Time and pricing will be provided prior to scheduling your conversion.
What equipment, if any, will I need to upgrade?
Before determining your software conversion schedule, a Medicine-On-Time customer support team member will reach out to your pharmacy and determine whether or not your existing computer hardware meets the required specifications for motNext. If your hardware needs to be modified or upgraded, the Customer Support team member will work with you to determine the most cost-effective solution for your pharmacy based on the Medicine-On-Time membership program you are in.
What are the benefits of upgrading?
motNext offers all of the same workflow-enhancing features as the original Medicine-On-Time software with the next generation of your pharmacy in mind. Some of the new features in motNext include inbound and outbound software integrations that meet today’s industry standards, Medispan Drug Database, 2-D barcode capabilities, a PV2 verification screen, an appointment-based model calendar and much more. motNext also powers three packaging solutions that you can choose from including MOT Complete, the C.A.R.E. Package and MOT Advantage. The Medicine-On-Time software development team continues to enhance features and functionality in motNext as pharmacy and patient needs continue to grow and change. No further development will take place with the original Medicine-On-Time software and the software itself will be discontinued sometime in 2025.

The Medicine-On-Time team is dedicated to completing software upgrades for our customers throughout the remainder of 2024 and 2025. Based on specific criteria, Medicine-On-Time will schedule and prioritize software conversions in order to ensure a seamless transition and the best possible outcome for each individual customer. Medicine-On-Time will reach out to your pharmacy well in advance of your conversion in order to discuss important dates and details.
